Proposing a Special Issue

For Guest Editors

  • Prepare a detailed proposal including:

    • Title of the Special Issue (concise and clear)

    • Rationale and significance of the topic

    • Intended scope and key themes

    • Profile and expertise of the Guest Editors

    • Proposed timeline for the call for papers, submission, review, and publication

  • Submit the proposal to JMRR’s editorial office for evaluation and approval.

For Authors

  • When submitting to a Special Issue, indicate the relevant theme or call for papers clearly in your cover letter and during submission.

  • Follow standard author guidelines regarding manuscript preparation, formatting, and ethical declarations.

  • Your manuscript will undergo the same rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure scholarly quality and integrity.

Publication Fees and Discounts

  • Articles accepted for Special Issues are subject to the same Article Processing Charge (APC) as regular submissions.

  • From time to time, JMRR may offer discounts or waivers for Special Issues—details will be communicated in individual calls or via the editorial office.
