When a manuscript is submitted through the JMRR online system, it undergoes a preliminary screening by the editorial office to check for:

  • Both authors’ and reviewers’ identities remain anonymous throughout the process to ensure impartial evaluation.

  • Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent expert reviewers with relevant subject expertise in management.

3. Reviewer Recommendations and Editorial Decision

  • Reviewers submit detailed reports with constructive feedback and provide a recommendation: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.

  • The editorial team considers all reviewer comments to make a balanced decision.

  • In cases of conflicting reviews, an additional reviewer may be consulted to ensure fairness.

  • The corresponding author is notified of the editorial decision and receives anonymized reviewer comments for response.

4. Revision Process (If Required)

  • If revisions are requested, authors receive clear instructions and a reasonable timeline to address comments.

  • Authors must submit a revised manuscript along with a point-by-point response explaining how they addressed reviewer feedback.

  • Revised manuscripts may be returned to original or new reviewers for further assessment if necessary.

5. Final Acceptance and Production

  • Once the manuscript satisfies editorial and reviewer concerns, it is formally accepted.

  • The article undergoes professional copyediting, formatting, and proofing.

  • Authors receive proofs for final corrections before publication.

6. Publication

  • Accepted articles are published online in open access format, indexed for maximum visibility and impact.
