Author Guidelines

The Journal of Management Research and Review (JMRR) provides a platform for high-caliber, original scholarship that advances the practice and theory of management. To help authors prepare manuscripts that meet our standards of academic rigor and ensure a smooth editorial process, please follow these comprehensive guidelines.

1. General Requirements

  • Original Work: Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not in consideration elsewhere. Duplicate or redundant submissions are not accepted.

  • Scope: Manuscripts should relate to management disciplines such as strategic management, HRM, finance, marketing, organizational behavior, innovation, business ethics, operations, or similar fields.

  • Language: Manuscripts should be submitted in clear, concise, and professional English.

2. Manuscript Preparation

Title Page

  • Title: Concise, descriptive, and limited to 15 words.

  • Authors: List full names, institutional affiliations, country, and email addresses.

  • Corresponding Author: Clearly designate, providing complete contact details.

Abstract and Keywords

  • Abstract: Maximum 250 words, succinctly covering research objectives, methodology, key findings, and implications.

  • Keywords: 3–6 relevant terms, separated by commas.

Manuscript Structure

Authors are encouraged to structure the manuscript as follows:

  1. Introduction: Define background, research questions, and objectives.

  2. Literature Review: Summarize relevant theory, concepts, or prior findings.

  3. Methodology: Describe research design, data sources, procedures, and analytical methods in sufficient detail for replication.

  4. Results and Discussion: Present key findings, interpretation, practical and theoretical implications, and limitations.

  5. Conclusion: Highlight major contributions, recommendations, and future research directions.

  6. Acknowledgments (if applicable): Credit funding, support, or individual contributions.

  7. References: Use APA, Harvard, or Chicago style consistently, emphasizing recent and international sources.

Formatting

  • Length: Recommended maximum of 8,000 words (including tables, figures, and references).

  • Font & Spacing: Times New Roman, 12pt, double-spaced, 1-inch (2.5cm) margins.

  • Tables & Figures: Numbered, titled, embedded within text, and also provided separately if requested.

  • File Format: MS Word (.doc or .docx) or PDF, as specified on the journal site.

3. Ethics and Compliance

  • Plagiarism: All submissions are screened for originality using plagiarism detection tools. Submissions with over 15% similarity or unacknowledged sources may be rejected.

  • Conflict of Interest: Disclose any relevant financial, personal, or institutional relationships.

  • Research Ethics: Where applicable, provide statements on ethical approvals and consent (e.g., for studies involving humans or sensitive data).

  • Funding Disclosure: Acknowledge all sources of research funding or support.

4. Authorship

  • All listed authors must have made substantial contributions to the research.

  • Authorship order should reflect relative contributions. Any changes must be justified and agreed by all authors in writing.

  • The corresponding author manages communication and confirms all authors’ approval of the submission.

5. Submission Procedure

  • Submit the manuscript and related documents via the online submission portal or as directed on the JMRR website.

  • Attach a cover letter summarizing the manuscript’s originality, significance, and confirming it is not under review elsewhere.

  • For Special Issues, specify the relevant theme in both cover letter and submission form.

6. Peer Review Process

All manuscripts undergo editorial screening followed by double-blind peer review from at least two independent experts. Authors receive editorial decisions and constructive reviewer feedback to enhance manuscript quality.

7. Final Submission Checklist

  •  Original, plagiarism-free manuscript

  •  All author and affiliation details included

  •  Abstract, keywords, and cover letter provided

  •  References formatted and complete

  •  All ethical, funding, and authorship disclosures included

  •  Figures and tables in correct format
